Responsibilities
Manage Operation of Technical Team
Manage the day-to-day operations of various compute environments, web hosting clients and datacenters operations including accompanying supporting infrastructure
Providing Training and guiding Junior systems engineers and level 2 Engineers in the team
Ensuring smooth operation of Support system keeping the customer Satisfaction on goal
Work in a team environment to evaluate and come up with best practices and ways to improve the existing process, infrastructure, and new infrastructure buildouts.
Serves as a technical Lead for systems design, installation, configuration, and client provisioning.
Implementing new solutions for Server, Virtualization and cloud infrastructure and automation. Develop new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts, and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability, particularly in private cloud environments.
Resolution for escalated issues in support ticketing system.
Establish guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host server operating systems, storage arrays, and other components.
Work closely with cross functional teams (i.e., Development, Support, Sales, Billing) and collaborate on optimal solutions for current and future projects
Monitors daily operations, providing maintenance and remediation of system issues.
Manage technical aspects of Partnerships with vendors like Microsoft, AWS, cPanel, Plesk etc.
Knowledge and ideas on how to build infrastructure, support & monitor and bring in efficiency in every possible way.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Manage Datacenter Operations to ensure smooth running of server provisioning
Perform troubleshooting leading problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations
Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission-critical host server resources for various clients or assigned clients.
Documentation of issues, ensuring proper SOPs and Knowledge Base.
Build tools and solutions to automate recurring tasks.
Design and implement large and complex technology projects.
Ensure Server audit and Backup of Infrastructure is done on time.
Working on escalated tickets and critical tasks
Skills And Requirement
Experience in Managing team in Linux/Cloud environment. Experience in webhosting environment is preferred
5 years of Linux (CentOS/RHEL Server) System Administrator experience in a web hosting environment.
Expert knowledge in web hosting software such as Apache, Litespeed, MySQL, and Exim.
Expert knowledge in web hosting panels like cPanel, Plesk etc.
Expert knowledge in Virtualization like KVM, OpenVZ etc.
Experience in Cloud Solutions
The ability to write shell scripts to help automate routine tasks
Familiarity with configuration management systems and the ability to write new modules and modify existing modules.
Ability to work on your own or as a team in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
