How To Change Root Password From WHM?

Steps to Change Root Password From WHM

➔ Login to WHM with your current root credentials.

➔ Once logged in, you will be greeted by the WHM home screen. In the left-hand sidebar, find and click on the ‘Server Configuration’ section to expand it.

➔ From the dropdown menu, select ‘Change Root Password.’ This option is specifically designed for updating the root password.

➔ With this, you will be directed to a page where you can enter a new password. Enter your new password in the ‘New Password’ field and confirm it by typing it again in the ‘Confirm Password’ field. 

*(You need to make sure to choose a strong password that combines uppercase & lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters for enhanced security).
